Apart from being Artistic Director of 5 theatres
and directing around the World Leslie has directed
many national tours in the UK and several plays and
musicals in London.

For the BBC he directed Dame Judi Dench and an
all-star cast in Noel Coward's HAY FEVER, Dame Thora
Hird in IN LOVING MEMORY and Sir Norman Wisdom and
Moira Lister in the comedy series ROBBING HOOD.
He directed the BBC TV dance group THE YOUNG
GENERATION in their West End musical debut at the
Piccadilly Theatre.

With Sandy Wilson he wrote the successful West End
musical AS DOROTHY PARKER ONCE SAID... starring
Libby Morris as the famous New York wit. He directed
the subsequent national tour and went on to create
WOMENS LIBBY, a one woman show for Miss Morris which
she performed all over the World for two decades.
He has directed many spectacular pantomimes and, at
the other end of the scale, most of Shakespeare's
works.

In all Leslie has directed over 200 major productions
at home and abroad.
